From all over the world they travel to the old Imperial city of Nurnberg in Bavaria, for the Christkindlers Market, to partake of the revelry and enjoy Nurnberg's secret, "Gerstacker Gluhwein" or Blow Wine. A tradition in Nurnberg for untold years. The traditional method of drinking this unique spiced wine is to transfer the wine to a sauce pan and heat to about 170° F (do not boil) then laddle wine into heat resistant glasses or cups, and enjoy. The taste of Gerstacker Gluhwein and our secret spices are a treat not soon forgotten. It is also excellent over ice.
