Old Tavern is a dessert red wine made from the grapes of Isabella, grown in the southern region of Moldova. Ruby color. Light delicate flavor strawberries. A perfect drink for any occasion.
Asconi was founded in 1994 and owns about 988 acres of vineyards growing Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscat Ottonel varieties near Geamana village in the Anenii Noi region of Moldova. The picturesque vineyards are situated about 25 miles to the south of Chishinau and 6 miles from the winery. They currently market their products in the Czech Republic, Poland, United States, Russia, Belorussia, Lithuania, Israel, and other countries.
