Domaine Brusset Ventoux Les Boudalles 2020 from Rhone Valley, France is our Wine of the Week!

Established in 1947, the Brusset family estate has managed to combine traditional winemaking with the new techniques introduced by recent generations. Founder, Andre Brusset, along with his son and grandson, are all experienced winemakers who have each contributed to the distinctive character of Domaine Brusset. The wines of Ventoux obtain their special characteristics and unique flavor profiles from the terroir; the altitude and cool nights play an important role, slowing down the ripening process and allowing the grapes to mature slowly which results in wines with ripe tannins and an explosion of fruit aromas.

A classic Rhone blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsault, and Carignan, Les Boudalles is very aromatic with raspberry and cherry on the nose followed by a supple and elegant palate highlighted by notes of chocolate and red berry fruits.
